The 2026 International Forum on Agriculture Innovation and Sustainability & the 3rd China–Latin America and the Caribbean Sustainable Food Innovation Forum (IFAIS, 2026) is dedicated to gathering global wisdom and driving cutting-edge exploration and technological innovation in sustainable agriculture development. Following the successful convening of the inaugural forum in 2024 and the second edition in 2025, which brought together over 300 participants from more than 25 countries and facilitated multiple international cooperation agreements in agricultural research and technology transfer, the 2026 forum continues to build on this momentum. It aims to provide robust scientific support for global food security, agricultural modernization, and environmental protection. The conference plans to invite top agricultural technology experts from over 20 countries and regions to jointly address the major challenges and opportunities in food security and sustainable development, fostering deep cross-national and interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration.

This theme will share the latest theoretical breakthroughs and foundational research achievements in food science, covering areas such as germplasm resource innovation, genomic studies, stress biology, and precision breeding technologies. By promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and theoretical innovation, this track offers scientific support for addressing fundamental challenges in crop production and sustainable agriculture.
This theme focuses on the conversion of scientific achievements into practical solutions, technology demonstration and scaling, as well as international cooperation models. It seeks to bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and field application, covering the value chain from field production to market access, and creating a new paradigm for the collaborative development of academia, research, and industry, ultimately enhancing the service of scientific achievements to the global food market and contributing to food security and rural development.
Through this conference, participants will not only gain insight into the latest research developments and practical experiences but also establish an international platform for exchange and cooperation to jointly address the critical issues in global food development. The entire conference will be conducted in English, and attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts and posters to showcase their latest research findings, fostering a vibrant interaction between academia and technology.
